Dual Wall Heat Shrink Tubing features a three to one shrink ratio tube with a layer of hot melt adhesive on the internal wall. Ideal for automotive, marine, avionics, telecommunications, and industrial electrical applications. RDW provides a waterproof barrier and environmental seal for cable joints and terminations, also used as an alternative to moulded parts and for cable breakouts. The flame retarded and self extinguishing heat shrink is resistant to chemicals, copper corrosion, fungus and UV exposure.
Dual wall polyolefin’s are lined with a meltable adhesive or encapsulant to protect from moisture. Available in flexible, semi-flexible and semi-rigid products and meet UL, CSA and military specifications. Offers excellent strain relief and abrasion resistance. Adhesive lined products will bond to a wide variety of materials.
Dual Wall Heat Shrink Tubing products consist of a crosslinked outer jacket and an inner layer of adhesive or encapsulant. During installation, the adhesive or encapsulant lining melts and flows, creating a moisture-resistant protective barrier. Benefits of this type of tubing include controlled amounts of adhesive and consistent results; compliance with AMS-DTL-23053 standards; UL recognition/CSA certification; and RoHS Compliant.
Application Temperature : From -40℃ to + 50℃
Initial Shrinking Temperature : 70℃
Fully Shrinking Temperature : 125℃
Melting Temperature of Internal Adhesive Layer : 70-80℃
Shrinking Ratio : 3: 1
Color : Black ( Other Colors can be done as Buyer’ Requirement )
