Twist Wire Connectors are typically installed by hand. They may have external grooves to make them easier to handle.are suitable to meet the requirements for both commercial or residential applications. A wire coiled spring is found within the tough plastic shell of the Twist Wire Connectors and expands to accommodate a wide range of wire combinations, sealing out moisture and protecting conductors from corrosion and fungus. Twist Wire Connectors cover common wire ranges and are designed with a ribbed cap for fast and easy installation.
It features a steel spring with corrosion-resistant coating and a durable PVC insulator. The molded insulator resists warping and expansion when pushed to the upper limits of its wire ranges. The connector is 600V-rated for building wire and 1000V-rated for signs, fixtures or luminaires. It withstands temperatures of 221 degrees F (105 degrees C). UL Listed and CSA Certified.
