SC Cable Lugs with Bell Mouth

SC Cable Lugs with Bell Mouth are specifically designed for ease of termination of fine stranded flexible cables. Because flexible cables tend to “splay” when the cable insulation has been removed, the enlarged cable entry provided by the bell mouth will accommodate the strand spread. Bell mouth lugs are crimped using standard tools and dies. Special bell mouth lugs are available on request.

Bimetallic Cable Lugs are designed for connecting LV, MV and HV stranded aluminium conductor cables including 11kV-33kV medium voltage .The Conductor cross section areas from 10sqmm to 630sqmm. And It used to terminate and crimp stranded aluminium cables with conductors according to BS EN 60228:2005

Bimetallic Cable Lugs are composed of two distinctive materials: the barrel of the lug is made of a fine grade aluminium alloy with purity of 99.5% and the palm is made of forged copper. Those two parts are joined together through a friction stir welding process. The barrel is filled with neutral grease to prevent from oxidisation and improve connectivity.
